JELLY SQUARES WITH MARIE BISCUITS

Add these ingredients to your shopping list:
- 185 g butter, melted
- 250 g Marie Biscuits, crushed
- 2 tsp gelatine
- 5 cup boiling water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 can NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk 395 g
- 1 pkt strawberry jelly
- 2 tsp gelatine, extra
METHOD
- Grease and line a 21 x 36cm swiss roll pan with baking paper. Combine melted butter and marie biscuits, press firmly into prepared pan. Refrigerate while you proceed to the second step of this jelly recipe.
- For the next phase of the jelly recipe, dissolve gelatine in boiling water, reserve. In a medium bowl add NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, reserved gelatine mix and lemon juice, beat until well combined. Pour over biscuit base, refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
- Make jelly as per packet instructions, adding in extra gelatine. Cool mixture. Once cooled, pour over chilled base and refrigerate for 1 hour or until set. Cut into squares using a warm knife to complete the jelly recipe.

INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the biscuits in a bowl.
- Melt the butter and add the vanilla, icing sugar, coffee, cocoa powder and egg and mix well.
- Mix the biscuits into the butter mixture and pour into a greased baking dish, 20 cm square.
- Dust liberally with the extra icing sugar. Chill in the fridge then cut into small squares.
NOTE:
All cookies, slices and bars that contain solid or melted butter are best stored in the fridge in airtight containers.

INSTRUCTIONS
Melt together in pot:
- 125g rama margarine
- 500g icing sugar
- 1 can of caramel condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of caramel essence
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove from stove and quickly stir in 1 beaten egg.
- Stir in 2 packets of crushed Marie biscuits and pour the mixture into a greased pie pan.
- Let it cool overnight in the fridge and cut into cubes
